Events, such as tours and cruises, will be handled by specialists we've selected to give you the best prices and options. For events that our office administers, you will be able to use our registration system to RSVP and pay.

UW-Eau Claire Shuffle 5k run/walk
This 2026 Shuffle 5k+ fun run/walk is hosted and sponsored by UW-Eau Claire Recreation and Sport Operations.
Saturday, March 7, 2026; 9 a.m. packet pickup; 9:50 a.m. race announcements.
10 a.m. Race Start at UWEC McPhee Physical Education Center, parking in the CVTC South Lot.
The route starts on UW-Eau Claire’s upper campus, goes down the infamous Garfield Avenue hill, over the scenic university footbridge and follows the river up the beautiful Chippewa Valley River trail. The race is a loop that begins and ends at the McPhee Physical Education Center. This event is open to any fitness level. Cost $20/person, $25/person on a team. Feeling competitive? We have a race clock at the finish line, so you can time and track your personal progress. Interested in enjoying a scenic run or walk with friends? Enjoy the views at a comfortable pace. Strollers are welcome if you want to make this a fun event for the entire family!
Pre-registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on March 5.
Same day registration begins at 9 a.m. on March 7 in the McPhee Indoor track. Price will increase to $25. Shirts will be first come, first served. Cash or check only. No credit card machines.

UW-Eau Claire Wisconsin Day at the Sun Bowl, Sun City, AZ
Please join fellow Blugolds alumni and friends of the Badger state for a Wisconsin picnic gathering at Sun City Ampitheater on Thursday, March 12, 2026, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. This event is open to all Wisconsinites and sponsored by UW-Eau Claire Alumni and the Wisconsin Club of Sun City. There is a $10 charge payable at the event that includes WI themes food, beverages, prizes and live music. Be sure to wear your BLUE and GOLD to show your Blugold Pride.

2026 UWEC Baseball in Florida
The Blugolds are heading to Florida for spring break 2026! Join the team for their games on March 18 at Northeast Regional Park. Varsity game at 9 a.m. against UMain-Farmington; JV game at 12:30 against Simpson University. Picnic lunch following at 3 p.m. at Northeast Regional Park, 50901 UW Hwy 27, Davenport, FL.
The $25 catered lunch will be served at the park pavilion and will include pulled pork, grilled chunk chicken, mac 'n' cheese, BBQ baked beans and coleslaw. View invitation here

The UW-Eau Claire Viennese Ball
SAVE THE DATE: Established in 1974, the Viennese Ball is inspired by the historic Kaiser Ball housed in Vienna at the Hofburg Congress Center, the former Imperial Palace and seat of the Austrian emperors. A multi-roomed New Year’s Eve extravaganza in the style of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elizabeth’s “Ball at Court,” the Kaiser Ball features thousands of flowers, wonderful food, and a wide variety of musical events including Salonmusik, Volkmusik, and, of course, orchestras playing Viennese waltzes.

The UW-Eau Claire Leadership Center Workshop
Welcome! We are excited to announce that we are offering our next workshop, which will focus on leadership styles and influence tactics in the workplace (including conducting your own leadership style assessment and learning how to match your style(s) to situations you commonly face in your organization).
Dr. Dan Gullifor and Dr. Scott Lester will co-lead this workshop.
The cost of this workshop will be $300 per person. Companies can however take advantage of a discount by sending two participants for a total cost of $500.

59th Annual Eau Claire Jazz Festival and Jazz Crawl
SAVE THE DATE: The Eau Claire Jazz Festival is a regional music festival, dedicated to educating, entertaining and promoting jazz.
The Jazz Crawl - is the transformation of downtown Eau Claire into a New York jazz scene. Here, you can explore over 40 exceptional music groups at 17 different venues (all-ages and 21+). This year, our groups will be featuring a variety of music styles including ragtime, blues, acoustic, and big band.
Join over 3,000 people and enjoy this once a year celebration! Friday, 17, 2026, Barstow St., Eau Claire, Wi. Ticket information will be available soon on Eau Claire Jazz Festival.

The Singing Statesmen 60th Anniversary Reunion and Spring Concert
Join us for the first in-person Statesmen reunion since 2016! Please spread the word to Statesmen of all eras and help make this the largest reunion yet!
Reunion highlights:
- Alumni Choir: rehearsal Saturday at noon in the choir room, perform 4 pieces in the evening concert directed by Gary Schwartzhoff, Elizabeth Joosten, Chris McGinley, and the newest Statesmen director Kristie Halverson!
- Pre-concert banquet at Holiday Inn South cost for Singing Statesmen-$50, Guests-$35.
- 7:30 p.m. concert in Gantner Concert Hall
- 9 p.m. post-concert afterglow at The 410 Galloway

UW-Eau Claire Chalkfest
Chalkfest is a day-long firestorm of creativity and positive community energy, culminating in over a quarter mile of sidewalk space displaying amazing chalk artwork! Created by Volume One, this event is hosted on the beautiful UW-Eau Claire campus along the Chippewa River. Chalkfest is one of the most highly anticipated events of the summer and it's a free urban art festival with tons of family-friendly fun!

Join UW-Eau Claire for the Brewers - Twins game in Milwaukee! Tickets for Friday, August 7, game at 6:40 p.m., at American Family Field, Milwaukee, WI. Cost: $75 per person-includes great seats in Section 110, rows 21-23 and pregame tailgate at Pavilion 3 in the Yount parking lot (lot opens at 4:10 p.m.).
