UWEC 50th Anniversary-Viennese Ball
Join us in celebrating our 50th year and Golden Anniversary! The Viennese Ball is inspired by the historic Kaiser Ball housed in Vienna at the Hofburg Congress Center, the former Imperial Palace and seat of the Austrian emperors. A multi-roomed New Year’s Eve extravaganza in the style of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elizabeth’s “Ball at Court,” the Kaiser Ball features thousands of flowers, wonderful food, and a wide variety of musical events including Salonmusik, Volkmusik, and, of course, orchestras playing Viennese waltzes. The Viennese Ball tickets on sale now.
Supporting Student Scholarships - through your attendance and support of the Ball, we have raised more than $1.5 million for music, service and international study scholarships and awards. Now in its 50th year, we welcome the campus and community to support the Ball, experience the excellence of our music programs and appreciate the character of our student-scholars.

Join Dean Lisa Jepsen, faculty, and staff and connect with other COB alumni in the Madison area on Friday, April 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Breese Stevens Field - The Forward Club, 917 E Mifflin St, Madison. You will hear an update of what's happening in College of Business and on campus, enjoy appetizers, one complimentary drink, and have a chance to win some Blugold swag.

Eau Claire Jazz Crawl
Eau Claire Jazz Crawl as you may remember previously called The Eau Claire Jazz Festival 52nd Street is the transformation of downtown Eau Claire into a New York jazz scene. Here, you can explore over 40 exceptional music groups at 17 different venues (all-ages and 21+). This year, our groups will be featuring a variety of music styles including ragtime, blues, acoustic, and big band. Join over 3,000 people and enjoy this once a year celebration! Join in the evening of music on Friday, April 11 on Barstow St. Eau Claire. Explore over 25 indoor/outdoor venues for just a $20 wristband. ($25 week of) Children 10 and under are FREE. Proceeds support our Eau Claire Jazz Festival educational programs.

UWEC Alumni Band Weekend
SAVE THE DATE! Join us at UW-Eau Claire Haas Fine Arts Center - Gantner Concert Hall, Eau Claire. Register to Join the Alumni Band! Join us April 24-27, 2025, for our Alumni Band weekend as we celebrate the University Bands! The weekend will feature performances by the musicians of the Symphony Band and Wind Symphony including concerto competition winners, student conductors, along with rehearsals and performance of the UWEC Alumni Band. There will be time to connect with friends, colleagues, and UWEC faculty (past and present). Dr. Ostrander and Dr. Stewart will lead rehearsals of the Alumni Band on Saturday and Sunday to prepare for the Sunday afternoon concert.
